Contoh Recount Text Sederhana

Saya akan memberikan beberapa contoh text recount sederhana, sebelumnya saya juga pernah memberikan contohnya beberapa, dan kali ini akan saya tambah kembali. Ok silahkan disimak!

Contoh 1

Last week, my friend and I were bored in home, so we rode our bikes to the beach., which is only five kilometers from our home. When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised because the place was so quiet.

We took our bikes under the tree and we prepare to swimm in the beach. After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really cold, we realized one reason there were not many people there. It was also windy.

After that, we took a rest while looked the store to buy some meals. After we bought some hot chips at the store, we rode our bikes down the beach for a while, on the hard. damp part of the sand. We had the wind behind us and before we knew it, we were many miles down the beach.

Before we made the long trip back, we decided to paddle our feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest. We felt tired after played in the water.

Finally we went home, we were vary exhausted.

Contoh 2

On Sunday, I and my best friend visited Semirang waterfall in Ungaran. It was the first time for me to visit the waterfall.

When we arrived at the hilll, I felt so fresh and I could enjoy the view. The air was so fresh and as far as I saw only green and green. In Ungaran, we took a little bit trekking to find Semirang waterfall. It was too bad for me because the distance to see the waterfall was so far.

After took far trip, we found Semirang waterfall. What a beautiful waterfall. We enjoyed the fresh water in the rain forest around the waterfall. The sound of falling water made me relax. It was also excellent drowning out background sound. 

Finally, time was over. It was time to go home. That was unforgettable experience for me. I really enjeyed.

Contoh 3

Las year, we spent our holiday in Papua. One of the places we visited was Baliem valley.

Early in the morning, we flew by Merpati to Wamena, then transferred by taxi to Sikima to see the 200 years old mummy and continued trekking to Suroba and Opagiana. We then went to Dogum village, which was located on a hill. for dinner and to stay overnight. It was really a pristine, scenic place to enjoy.

We felt satisfied.

Contoh 4

Last week, we wenr on a trip to see a waterfall. We left from school at seveb thirty in the morning.

We arrived at the waterfall site at nine o'clock. It was a nice place, especially the waterfall. It was so high, more than 100 meters. The air was so fresh, and water from up was so clear and cool. Some of us played with the water, and the others just watched the scenery. At noon, we had lunch together.

We were really happy.

Contoh 5

Three months ago, I went Bali with my family.

First we went to see Barong dance in Batu Bulan. It was very interesting. Then, we visited Besakih Temple. People call it the mother Tample because it was huge. Next, we went to Kuta Beach to see the sunsent. What a beautiful sunset! Finally, we went to Tanah Lot and Bedugul. They are beautiful.

We were there for three days. I want to go there again.

Contoh 6

Last month, my uncle and his wife with their children went to Parangtritis Beach. They wanted to enjoy the scenery. They went there by car.

After parking the car, they took a walk along the beach. Then they looked for a place to take a rest, they rolled out the mat on the ground and meals together. While eating, they saw many children row a boat, swim in the beach, and walk along the beach.

After eating. my uncle and my aunt moved to sit under the tree, then their children played on the sand. They made sand castle.

Doing something on the beach was interesting. They were happy on that day.

PRONOUN

Pronoun adalah kata yang digunakan untuk menggantikan kata benda, baik berupa orang maupun selain orang.

Pronoun Functions
Pronoun dapat berfungsi sebagai
a. Subject of verb
b. Subject of complement
c. Object of verb
d. Object of preposition
e. Head of modifier
f. Adverb of vocative

Pronoun dibedakan menjadi beberapa bagian, antara lain:
1. Personal Pronoun

2. Reflexive Pronoun
Adalah kata ganti yang merefleksikan kata benda. Contoh dalam kalimat

• She came here with yourself.
• I myself do this work.
• I love you yourself.

   Catatan:
Apabila Reflexive Pronoun diawali dengan preposisi "by", maka akan bermakna 'alone'. The boy goes to school by himself.

3. Reciprocal Pronoun
Merupakan kata ganti yang menimbulkan makna saling atau timbal balik. Reciprocal Pronoun terdiri dari dua jenis, yaitu:
a. each other yaitu untuk menyatakan saling antara dua orang.
Examples:
Andri and Andrea love each other.
Louis and Lissa are interested in each other.

b. one another yaitu untuk menyatakan saling lebih dari dua orang.
Examples:
The students throw one another.
The army and the enemy shoot one another in the war.

4. Demonstrative Pronoun
Adalah kata ganti penunjuk, terdiri dari:
a. That (singular)
Examples:
That is my girl.
My brother is that.

b. Those (Plural)
Examples:
Those are my friends.
The books are those.

c. This (Singular)
Examples:
This is your t-shirt.
I like this.

d. These (Plural)
Examples:
These are my students.
Don't talk about these.

5. Interrogative Pronoun
Who > yang ditanyakan adalah subjek
Whom > yang ditanyakan adalah objek
Whose > kepunyaan
Which > menanyakan pilihan
Where > menanyakan tempat
When > menanyakan waktu
How > Menanyakan bagaimana atau cara

6. Indefinite Pronoun
Adalah kata ganti yang digunakan sebagai pengganti benda yang belum jelas. Antara lain terdiri dari
Someone        Somebody              Something
Everyone        Everybody              Everything
Noone            Nobody                  Nothing
Anyone           Anybody                Anything

NOUN

Noun adalah kata yang digunakan untuk menamai suatu benda, baik yang abstrak maupun yang kongkrit, baik yang dapat dihitung maupun tidak.

Positions of Noun
1. Subject of verb            
2. Subject of complement

5. Head of phrases
6. Modifier of phrases

Noun dibagi dalam beberapa klasifikasi, antara lain:
1. Menurut jumlahnya (Quantity)
    Countable noun (kata benda yang dapat dihitung)
    Uncountable noun (kata benda yang tidak dapat dihitung)
2. Menurut bentuknya
    Abstract yaitu kata benda yang tidak dapat dijangkau oleh panca indra
    Concrete yaitu kata benda yang dapat dijangkau oleh panca indra
3. Menurut penamaannya
    Common Noun (Kata benda umum)
    Proper Noun (Kata benda yang bernama atau bermerk)
    Collective Noun  Kata benda yang berbentuk singular tetapi beranggotakan banyak orang)
    Material Noun Original Noun (Kata benda asli atau kata benda yang bisa dibuat sebagai bahan dasar membuat benda lain)

Part Of Speech

Part of speech merupakan klasifikasi tau jenis-jenis kata dalam bahasa inggris. Klasifikasi kata dalam bahasa inggris terdiri dari delapan jenis, yaitu:
1. Noun (kata benda)
2. Pronoun (kata ganti)
3. Adjective (kata sifat)
4. Verb (kata kerja)
5. Adverb (kata keterangan)
6. Preposition (kata depan)
7. Conjunction (kata penghubung)
8. Interjection (kata seru)

Mempelajari kedelapan part of speech tersebut menjadi penting karena kita bisa lebih memahami dan menguasai materi dan dapat mempermudah para pembelajar bahasa inggris dalam hal-hal berikut:
1. Mengenal setiap jenis kata dalam bahasa inggris.
2. Meletakkan kata dalam kalimat dengan benar.
3. Memahami dua bentuk kalimat utama bahasa inggris yaitu verbal dan nominal sentence.
4. Menguasai comprehensive Englis tenses.

Contoh-contoh narrative text

Contoh 1

Story of Lake Toba

A long time ago, there was fisherman in Batak land. His name was Batara Guru Sahala. He was handsome but he was poor. He lived in an old hut. He had no wife and children.

One day, he went to the lake with his boat. A long day he did not catch any fishes. Then he wa lucky, he caught a golden fish. He was surprised that the fish could talk.

The golden fish changed into a beautiful woman. She spoke to Sahala that she was a fairy. Sahala fell in love and married her. But Sahala never told that she was a fish.

They married. They lived happily. They had two beatiful daughters. Sahala was rich and had many good boats to look for fishes in the lake.

One day as usual, Sahala's daughters sent him some meals for his lunch. And they never touched the meal because it was forbidden. But that day they ate up the meal. It made Sahala angry and said that they were daughters of fish.

Sahala broke his promise. His wife and daughters ran to the lake and changed into fishes. Then now the people of Batak believe that the fishes in Lake Toba are the descendants of Batara Guru Sahala and his wife.


Contoh 2

Roro Jonggrang

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful woman who lost her father, King Boko. The beautiful woman was Roro Jonggrang.

Bandung Bondowoso, the man who killed Roro Jonggrang's father. He knew the beauty of Roro Jonggrang. So he wanted Roro Jonggrang to be his wife. But Roro Jonggrang refused to marry of the murderer of her father.

Roro Jonggrang told her Patih about her trouble. Patih advised her to ask Bandung make a thousand temples in one night.

Roro Jonggrang asked Bandung Bondowoso made a thousand tamples in one night. Bandung received what Roro Jonggrang said.

Bandung Bondowoso made a thousand tamples in one night. He used the magic power so the work nearly finished.

Roro Jonggrang ordered the villagers to beat the rice grinder. Bandung was angry to find the work uncompleted. He forced Roro Jonggrang to replace the statue. The statue Roro Jonggrang stands in Prambanan Temple now.

Contoh 3

The Golden Snail

Once upon a time, there was an old widow. Her name was mbok Rondo Dadapan. She was very poor. Her job was looking for the fish along the river. The river was not far from her hut.

One day, she found a golden snail. She took the snail home and put it in the jar in her kitchen. She kept the snail well and fed it enough food.

Several days later, after coming back from her daily fishing she found delicious meal on the table. Her hut was clean. And this happened almosst for a long time.

Then one day, she did not go fishing. But she peeped from outside of her hut she saw a beautiful princess going out of the jar where she kept golden snail. The princess prepared the meal and cleaned the hut.

The princess was surprised when Mbok Rondo Dadapan came in and asked "Who are you?" So the princess told her life and was willing to be Mbok Rondo Dadapan's daughter. Finally, she did not become a golden snail anymore.

Contoh 1

Last summer, the of a famous novel went to Italy. He visited museums. He sat in a public garden, and a friendly waitertaught him a few Italian words. He thought about postcards yesterday. His holiday passed quickly. On the last day, he got up early and bought 37 cards. he was in his room all the day, but he did not write a single card.

Contoh 2

One day Dewi fell sick in the middle of the English class. All the students did reading tasks. Suddenly Dewi vomited. All other students stopped writing. Mrs. Lidya helped her immediately. the chairman of the class send for the school's doctor.

In five minutes the doctor came. He examined her carefully. He examined her eyes. He felt her stomach. He listened to her heart beat. He measured her blood pressure. Then he took her temperature.

"I'm afraid she suffers from malaria. Her temperature is very high. That is why she vomited. She has a very bad cough, too. I'll hive her some pills for her malaria, some tablets for her fever, and syrup for her cough. She needs a week's rest", said the doctor.

Contoh 3

Dear Grandpa and Grandma,
Yesterday at my school we had an International day. We had performances, food stalls, displays, raffle ticket draw, and some of us were dressed in costumes.

We started our day off with performances but the one I liked best wast the one from fourth grade. We played games. The performance I was in was Labamba.

Straight after our performances we had our lunch. There were food stalls. They came from Australia, Asia, Arab, and Greece.

Everyone had a job. These people were from sixth grade. I did my job after I had lunch. My job was to sell International Day Books.

We had displays in the hall. These displays were good but I didn't get to see them. The displays came from a lot of countries.

There were also a Trans and Treasure stall where they sold toys. the school got these things by asking the children to bring them in.

Although I didn't win anything, International Day was still fun.

Recount Text

Recount text is a text which has social function to retell events for the purpose of informating or entertaining.

A recount text has the following text structure:

1. Orientation : Provides the setting and introduces participants.
2. Events : tell what happened, in what squence.
3. Re orientation : optional closure of events
